I wouldn’t like to manually fill in the colour with the brush tool.
How could I achieve a clean fill without the pixelated line? I’ll try it. Perfect, it works now. I tried it earlier and the wand tool wouldn’t work.
Not sure why. Thank you so much for your help! I find having to use the wand and then flood fill pretty time consuming if you’ve got a complicated file. Having the flood fill tool sample all layers would be MUCH better. Also, with pixel persona in designer, or a flood fill type tool in ‘draw’ persona. The file is VERY big and complex so turning all the individual lines into closed shapes for filling using the standard colour tools is impractical.

Unlike the plain flood fill, the retouch modifier preserves the features of the affected pixels, namely the gradient and the reflection. Also, the edges remained smooth, because the pixels were not overwritten, merely affected by the selected operation.
The flood fill tool can also be used with a selection. If I create an ellipse selection and then use the flood fill tool, only the selected region is affected. That is probably due to the limitations of the file format used.
JPG for example does not support transparency and so transparent areas become black. Try saving the file as PNG or if it is a photo and you are concerned about file size, try lossy WebP.
