When I go to File > Option > Add-ins, the “Endnote Cite While you Write” add-ins appears in the inactive Application Add-ins (As in image 1). There is nothing in the disabled add-ins (Image 2). I . I found a way to by-pass Thomson Reuters and install endnote X7 on Word 1) Uninstall all office programs. 2) Install office version (I installed only word) 3) Install Endnote x7. 4) Install office and voilà: appears endnote function on word
